The application site is a large, roughly squared area, comprising of a double storey office block on the corner of Uphall road. This project involves in the demolition of the building and the reconstruction of a 5 storey purpose built residential block comprising of 27 residential units with 1,2 and 3 bedroom flats. The site is located on a key residential area on the boundary of PTAL ratings 2 and 5 and is well located for easy transport and shopping facilities in Barking town centre
